Adverbs

Adverbs are words that describe everything except nouns. Those that describe nouns are called adjectives. But, basically these are ‘describing words’. They answer specific questions like:

In terms of their position in the sentences, we can divide them into 3 kinds:

        1. Before the words they describe — HOW MUCH, and HOW OFTEN
        2. After the words they describe — WHERE
        3. At the end of the sentence — HOW and WHEN
