Example words         safely, warmly, smoothly, softly, terribly (almost all words ending with                                            –ly, except hard, fast, well, &c.)

Usage        They greeted the clients warmly.

The car ran smoothly.

She played the guitar terribly.

They reached home safely.

3. WHEN

Example words        after, before, early, today, tomorrow, soon, since, now, early

Usage        We will go there tomorrow.

The party is in the evening.

The meeting is after lunch.

They agreed on the conditions eventually.

Exception

IF we wish to STRESS on the time, we place it in the beginning of the sentence:

Tomorrow, we will go to the museum.

Time is more important than going to the museum.

In the evening we will have a party.

Time is more important than having a party.

After lunch, there will be a meeting.

Time is more important than the meeting itself.

Eventually, they agreed on the conditions.

Time is more important than agreeing to the conditions.
