Why come to TELW to Learn English Communication Skills?
If you want to speak English the natural way, let TELW support you. Our students start speaking English from the very first day. We use an interesting blend of role-plays, debates, and presentations.
Written and audio exercises, where needed, make learning fun and rewarding. You also get to use the language in a whole lot of ways. And, with just 8-10 students per class, each student gets the personal touch they need for effective learning.
How do you evaluate an English training center?
(Or, Why is TELW a worthwhile option better than almost any other? )
- You start speaking in English from Day-1. You don’t have the fear and anxiety that you have in the beginning of learning a new language.
- You reinforce what you have learnt periodically. You learn new elements each day, but you also revise the old ones. So, you don’t forget them. Instead, you strengthen them.
WHAT IS THE PRINCIPLE OF LEARNING ENGLISH AT TELW?
- You learn English the same way you learnt your mother-tongue. By listening, repeating, and then speaking.
- The students are encouraged to speak only in English. This methodology is very effective. You get to learn English quicker because you are allowed to use only the new language. You don’t become a personified Google Translate.
- There’s a lot of listening and speaking in the class and outside.
- We don’t teach any English grammar.
- The student suddenly realizes that he or she has started to speak in English!
- The classes aren’t just drills and committing to memory. You get to actually use the language almost every few minutes. In fact, you start feeling your progress yourself.
- The students say, ‘Wow, we didn’t know when time flew by!’ They say learning English at TELW is actually fun.
- You don’t sit and grow roots. You are always on the move – standing, walking around, doing role-plays.
- You learn the language in chunks – expressions, collocations, and other ‘language building blocks’, if you please. You also develop proper pronunciation, fluency, and accuracy.
- If you really want to learn a language to actually use it, be it for business or travel, or studies, or just pleasure, there’s no substitute to a face-to-face learning. This tailoring of the course to suit your needs actually helps tremendously.
- We believe that if you can speak well in English, you can write better. That way, reading and writing skills are complementary takeaways – a natural consequence. You don’t have to really learn specific writing skills. Moreover, the bottom-up method we follow includes active reading skills as well.
- You can see the exhilaration on the faces of the people when they start speaking properly, and when they start thinking in English.
